1. Tony Macaroni’s Conch Experience: Here you’ll get a taste of the local beach scene with Roast Conch which is the specialty of the house, or Conch burgers, Conch salad and Roast lobster and Shrimp! This spot is good for the whole family, with excellent selection on the menu, and the famous Whacky Banana Cocktail you need to try! At the Banana Bay, you’ll enjoy both fantastic food and beautiful scenery. Serves local cuisine such as Caribbean, Seafood, Bahamian, Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan option, and a Bar.
3. Robinson’s Seafood Delight: This is a local spot that serves Caribbean, Seafood & Bahamian food, its local cuisine and serves lunch, dinner and brunch. This is a good spot for families with children, or without. Everything here is fresh to order, be sure to try the friend Snapper or Fish Tacos!
4. Manta Ray Beach Club: If you want great food and amazing music, then you need to check out this spot, it’s the perfect Caribbean atmosphere with open air restaurant and bar located right on the beach with very reasonable prices. This is a great spot for families with or without children; it has “giant” activities such as Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect Four, and an activity pool for children.
5. Flying Fish GastroBar: This spot serves both lunch and dinner with a full bar, and caters to Caribbean, Seafood, Bahamian, and International dishes; it’s also Vegetarian Friendly, with Gluten Free and Vegan Options. This is a family friendly place and has beautiful breathtaking views, and is moderately priced.
6. Cappuccino’s Fine Italian Restaurant: This restaurant has an intimate atmosphere but not overly fancy, moderately priced, with amazing food. Even though this is a great spot to take a date, it’s still family friendly and does accommodate children with half orders. So if you’re looking for a meal more familiar with a lot of love put into its preparation, you’ll want to visit this spot.
7. Dive In Bar & Grill: This is the spot that serves all three: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Here you can enjoy International, Bahamian, American, Vegetarian Friendly, and Gluten Free Options. This spot is open from 7 am to 9 pm and you can dine in or take-out, it accommodates outdoor seating, and regular seating with a full bar and is family friendly. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and an array of different styles of food the Dive In Bar and Grill touches a little bit of everything and leaves everyone happy.
8. Pisces Seafood House & Pizzeria: This spot is good for lunch, dinner and has a late night option! It serves Pizza, Seafood, Bahamian, Italian and is Vegetarian Friendly with a full bar. It’s a good spin on local cuisine such as a conch pizza pie! Another fan favorite is the Coconut Curry, this is a family friendly spot.
9. Bertha’s Blue Dinghy: If locals like this spot then that’s a good sign! This caters to lunch, dinner and late night menus serving Caribbean, Seafood, Bahamian, with a Bar and Pub, and is Vegetarian Friendly, along with being a kid friendly zone. This is a family operated restaurant with the family working there also. They put a lot of love into their food and service and it shows because patrons are always happy with their experience at Bertha’s Blue Dinghy. This is the place where words won’t do it justice, but the experience will though.
10. Island Yogurt: Why not some desert? This is most definitely a kid friendly environment, Yogurt serves all! Here you can get soft serve, self-serve frozen yogurt, smoothies, and pastries, along with hot and cold beverages. The frozen yogurt is tasty and made on site, and located in the marketplace, it’s an excellent choice on a hot day.
